Happy Halloween!

Our Ward Trunk-or-Treat was tonight and the kids had a blast. Cameron was so excited to get to wear his dinosaur costume (which he picked out all by himself) that he fell asleep on the way there. (He put the pumpkin on his head himself.) Lexi helped hand out the candy with her Dad the soldier. Cameron was funny... He got a couple of candy bars, then decided that he'd had "enough candy." He went back to our car and shared his loot with Lexi. The pictures from the church activity came out kind of dark, so I decided to post a few pictures that we took on top of our local Mountain. Anyway, without further ado, here are a few pictures of the kiddos. Enjoy.

Happy Halloween!

Pumpkin Fest

This weekend Nana and Pop-Pop came up from New Jersey for a visit. They brought Cameron Marie with them, Cameron's second cousin. We all enjoyed the visit - it's so great to see them, but I don't think anyone was as excited as Cameron. He loves it when the grandparents come to visit and Cameron Marie was an added bonus! They had a lot of fun together. Today we took them to the Pumpkin Festival in Keene. Cameron and Cameron Marie dressed up for the costume parade. They both looked great and had a pretty good time. Here's a shot of the whole clan at the festival:

Cameron and Cameron Marie were fast friends. He loved playing with her, climbing on her and chasing her around. Here he is getting a Piggy-Back ride from his new friend:

Cameron and Cameron Marie went on a large blow-up maze called "Rat Race." Cameron Marie kept a close eye on Cameron and made sure he didn't get lost. They had a blast! Here they are at the finish:

Cameron was obsessed the stamp that showed he paid for the ride. He kept a very close eye on it the rest of the day. Here he is showing everyone his stamped hand:

Thanks for coming guys! We had a great time! We can't wait to see you again in November!

Leaves, Leaves, EVERYWHERE!

So it's a little more than a little chilly now, but we're not letting that slow us down one bit! Today we raked leaves into a pile and let the kiddos go wild. Even Cameron got into the raking...

Here's Lexi checking the leaves out...

(She thought they were fascinating)

Cameron showing Lexi how to REALLY enjoy the leaves:

(He found a twig - what a treasure!)

He may have gotten into the spirit of Fall a little too much:

(Throwing leaves at Lexi.)

Lexi letting us know that she's had enough...

BROTHERS. REALLY.

All done... Have a great Fall!

Fall Photos "Do-over"

So we were leaving the house (past the scare-crows) and Cameron decides that it's "Lexi's turn" to have her picture taken with them. Rather than listen to him scream all the way into town, we decided that we would just unbuckle Lexi and take a couple of "quick" pictures:

Cameron decides that, he too, should be in the pictures with Lexi...

Here is a close-up of Lexi:

And Cameron laughing hysterically...

Okay, so there's no such thing as "quickly" unloading two kids, "quickly" taking pictures and "quickly" re-loading them back into their respective seats, but Cameron was happy almost all the way into town... and in the end, that's worth the 20 or so minutes it set us back. Got to love how 3 yr-olds dictate your schedule.

Fall in NH

Fall is officially in full swing here in NH, and as usual, we have done a little decorating...

Cameron calls the "girl" scare-crow "Wexi" (Lexi) and the "boy" scare-crow "Cam-man" (Cameron). He is OBSESSED with the Lexi scare-crow.
(He was actually the one who wanted his picture taken with it.)

This is cameron saying "I love Yoooouuuuu."
(Directed to all family who are regulars here on our blog.)

With the air getting a little, shall we say, "crisper," many traditionally "outdoor" activities have subsequently moved inside. Wrestling is one of the most popular. After baths last night Cameron declared a "Pig-Pile" on Dad and both kids went into attack mode. (Yes, even Lexi got in on the action - notice the little pink-pajama-clad arm in the bottom of the picture.)
I'm honestly not sure who was having more fun...

Seeing that I had the camera, lexi turned on me....
(She is F-A-S-T!)

This is her game face:
She is attacking me with the laundry basket
(And loving every minute!)

Great way to get the kiddos to "wind-down" before bed,
don't you think?

Cameron Turns the big 3!

Happy 3rd Birthday Cameron!

3 (very) short years ago today our little prince was born:

Here he is on his 1st birthday:

Here he is on his 2nd birthday:

Today we took him for a family hike - one of his favorite things to do:

And of course, opened presents and had cake and ice cream...
(This was a really fun drill from Great Grammie Wiggins!)
WE LOVE YOU CAMERON!
