Daddy's Little Helper

Jon is building the kiddos an outdoor adventure swing-set / club house... And as with anything Jon does, he is going big! The club house is going to be two-stories tall and completely bug-proof, with all kinds of fun goodies, including an 8-foot wave slide. Cameron has been kind enough to help him out with the manual labor. Here are a few pics:

Marking the spot.

If you listen closely, you can hear him grunting! :)

Making sure everything is level - very important!

What was it that Dad asked me to get again?

Notice the only picture he doesn't have his "Safety" Glasses on is the one in which he is using a hammer. Let's just say that his Eye Doctor was less than impressed.

We'll keep you updated on their progress. Cameron is only 2 1/2 - he gets tired easily so it may take them a while to get it finished. (We all know he does the lion's share of the work! ;)

We Love Church...

And we REALLY love coming home!

Sooo happy!

Okay, I smiled for you... Now take my dress off!

This one's just to show off her cute bow...
She left it in all day long!
What can I say, her toes are fascinating-
she likes to play peek-a-boo with them

Even Cameron wanted his picture taken today...
So Handsome!
Hope you guys had as much fun at church as we did!

We're Ready for Summer!

When the Temp's hit 90 here in New Hampshire, we were ready!
What you can't see is that Lexi was also sporting some SPF 50 Sunblock...
It's going to be her new best friend this summer.
(That and bug spray - the mosquitoes here are "wicked")

I just love this outfit - adorable and practical!

Guess what Cameron and Dad did?
Notice the new "Cars" Life-Jacket
(It's the only way we can get him to wear one.)

Yes - Cameron was a HUGE help paddling!

...And with carrying Dad's pole!

A "Real" Cowboy!

This was Cameron's idea of a fun way to avoid going to bed:
He found his authentic cowboy gear in his closet and got into character...
He shot every "bad guy" that tried to make him go to bed.

....Then galloped away on his trusty steed.
Ride 'um Cowboy!
You should see the pictures of Cameron riding his other "horse."
When he got tired of his brown horse, he opted for a self-moving version and climbed on Dad.
(Jon wouldn't let me post those pictures.)

Needless to say, when we stopped laughing and got him in bed, he slept well.

Now for an update on the Princess:
She is sitting up all by herself!

Still as happy as ever!

Watching Cameron - he's such a ham!

Special Visitors

Look who's been visiting:
Aunt Amanda...
(who spoiled Lexi with the onsie she's sporting.)

and Grandpa....

Proof that Aunt Amanda has been visiting:

Who else encourages kids to stick out their tongues? ;)

We'll Miss you Guys!
