The Snow has Arrived

Our Snow drought is OVER! (And all 3 of my children have been loving every minute of the recent blizzards.) The traditional snow fort was finally built, we've had endless snow-ball fights, spent some time sledding and took LOTS of pictures. Here are a few of my favorites:

Feeling Better.... FINALLY!

As most of you may have heard, we've been SICK...

(Yes, ALL of us... at the SAME time.)

After everyone started feeling better, we took a short trip to re-stock supplies. We decided to let the kiddos pick out new sunglasses to cheer them up. (Yes, they picked them out themselves.) Cameron liked the red "spiderman" sunglasses and Lexi chose pink with silver polka-dots. It's amazing how long it took a 1-year old to make up her mind. She tried on quite a few pair! Here they are wearing them on the way to church:








We thought the worst was behind us and we scrubbed the house REALLY well... or so we thought. Aunt Amanda and uncle Jeff came up to play (hence the light sabers) and unfortunately, we shared our germs with Aunt Amanda. Here are a couple of shots of the good times:





We've been spending a lot of time inside, you know, trying to keep things "low key." Here's an example...







They celebrated their victory over an obviously defeated Dad by taking a ride together in the glider rocker:




It's nice to have things back to "normal."

Racin'

Those of you who've been to our house know that it has a built-in race-track. The kiddos take full advantage of the set-up and race frequently. I had today off from work and grabbed the camera so everyone could feel like they were part of the action.

I still can't believe Lexi is RUNNING! For the longest time, she refused to let go of my hand and when she finally did she's racing her brother within days! What happened to my baby?

Fun in the snow

As you might have guessed by the title, we got a LOT of snow recently and while I slave away at work all day (after commuting WAY too long in the white fluffy stuff) my kids are at home playing in it. (All 3 of them!) Before you enjoy the pictures as I did when I got home, please know that I already reprimanded my oldest child (Jon) for the lack of hats...

To Satisfy the Peanut Gallery

A few people have hinted that we haven't posted any pictures of the kiddos recently. We haven't really done anything exciting. Lexi's teeth are really showing now and she has mastered the art of running. Cameron uses every spare minute he has "practicing" to make sure he stays faster than she is. What can I say, he likes to chase her. Here are a few pictures of our resident Princess in action:

Fun in the Snow

It may be cold here in New Hampshire, but at least we've got snow... And boy, do we know how to have a good time in it! Here are a few of our favorite things to do in the snow:

#1 - Build Snowmen (or women). Meet Frostita:

#3 Sledding!!!


Uh - this is the look I got when I pulled Lexi. (Apparently she would like a little less picture-taking and a little more action.) Mush Mom, Mush!


Cameron got a new sled from Mammie and Grandpa for Christmas and boy does that thing move!Good thing Mammie was there to catch him at the bottom!


After a few runs he even carried his sled himself - what a big boy!


Even Mammie got in on the action:

What a great time! Although, ask me again in March how much I love the snow! ;)
